Specifications

2" O.D Mullite Tube is made in the USA with 60% Al 2 O 3 +38% SiO2 material. Mullite tube can be used up to 1650 o C in both oxidizing and reduce atmospheres, which has better thermo-conductivity and provides better temperature uniformity compared with quartz tube. Besides, the physical and thermal properties of mullite allow operation under fast cooling/heating. O.D:      2 " +/- 0.05''                   (50.8 mm) I.D:        1.75'' +/- 0.05''                (44.45 mm) Length:  12"                                (304.8 mm) Max. Working Temperature:         1500 o C  (without vacuum) Continuous Working Temperature: 1450 o C Please click here to learn How to use and maintain Mullite Tube in MTI high-temperature tube furnace. In order get longer tube service life, Please use quartz or alumina crucible to carry sample, instead loading sample directly inside tube, please click picture below to choose one crucible boat: Inspect your delivery: Please check package for damages before accepting delivery. Should damages found, please keep all packaging materials, take pictures, and report immediately to carrier/MTI.
