Specifications

This is a Dual Element K Thermocouple for the use on MTI KSL-1100X-AC-5S Five Side Heating Atmosphere Controlled Muffle Furnace Features Super Accurate, Super Stable, Super Value Allows two readings at a single point Built-in Backup For Use with Temperatures Up to 1335 o C (2440 o F) Excellent Long Term Stability at High Temperature Nickel-Chrome Based Super-alloy Sheathing Provides Excellent High Temperature Performance Excellent Oxidation, Carburization and Chlorination Resistance Length 12" Diameter of Sheath 1/4" Material Positive: Ni-Cr Negative:  Ni-Al Temperature Range -200 o C to 1335 o C Application Note There are 2 polarities for K type thermocouple: positive and negative. Please check polarity of K type thermocouple before use. Wrong polarity may result temperature measuring error. It is also easy to test the polarity of K type thermocouples. The negative wire is MORE magnetic than the positive wire. Put a magnet up to each wire as one will be more magnetic than the other.
