3T Max. Manual Mechanical Press or Compressing Jig - YLJ-3

YLJ-3 is a manually operated mechanical compressing press (jig) designed for pressing samples in gloveboxes up to 3 metric tons or compressing split flow cells for preventing liquid leakage during the testing of the electrolyte. This jig features a built-in retaining mechanism that prevents the loss of compression force on the split cell, a major advantage over other compressing jigs where the clamping force of the split cell weakens once the mechanical jack loses pressure. Also, it can be used inside a glovebox without oil leaks risky.

Pressure	Please note no pressure display on the pressing machine. Max. force is about 5T when the single hand is difficult to press. You may order a load sensor to display pressure (click Pic.1&2)  below to order. The press can be used as a jig for pressing pouch cells or solid/liquid-state batteries at a constant pressure.
