Applications notes
|
- Pre-metered Horizontal-Dipping Process
Such a syringe pump can precisely control the volume of the solution per unit coating area being fed into the gap between the cylindrical barrier and the glass substrate.
- Doctor-Blade (or Wire-Bar) Coating: Such a Syringe Pump can be used for adding a solvent at various concentrations. By using multiple syringe pumps, you can add an ingredient in a certain weight ratio to a mixed solution. Similar to the Horizontal-dipping Process, the blended organic solution is introduced into the space between the barrier and the substrate by such pumps' capillary action. The Doctor-Blade is transported horizontally at a given constant velocity, a thin solution layer is then spread and formed evenly on the substrate.
