MEA-GDE-TEC is a gas-diffusion-type flow cell electrolyzer with MEA structures and three-electrode configuration for CO2 reduction reaction. The snakelike gas channels enable the reaction efficiency for gas and cathode catalyst. SPECIFICATIONS: Structural Features The bipolar plates are made of Ti metal with good corrosion resistance. PTFE gaskets with high electrochemical corrosion properties Gas flow channels with snakelike shape for increasing reaction retention time. Flow channels with other shapes are also available upon request. The reference electrode is installed at the cathode bipolar plate. The catholyte flow goes through the cathode bipolar plate without an additional central chamber, which shortens the distance between working electrode and counter electrode to be 0.4 mm.
