KSL-1700X-S-H is a1700ºC max. compact hybrid furnace that can be used as a 1.7L ( 12x12x12cm ) muffle furnace and a 1" ID " tube furnace. It is a cost-effective and space-saving solution for material processing labs. SPECIFICATIONS: Furnace Structure The design of the drop-down door makes it easy to load samples as a compact box furnace One 40 mm hole is opened in the front of the door to insert a 40 mm OD x 30 mm ID alumina tube with flanges as a tube furnace 1800oC grade MoSi2 heating elements inside Power AC 208V-240V single phase, 50/60 Hz ( 20A air breaker required) 2.5KW Note: Power cable included but without the plug. A wireless remote control provides up to 200 meters of operating range. Compliance CE Certified The furnace is ready to pass TUV(UL61010) or CSA certification at an extra cost. Attention Notes For preserving the longevity of the furnace components, we recommend the heating rate not to exceed 10 °C /min. The cooling rate shall also not exceed 10 °C /min. Small cracks may appear on the surface of the refractory ceramics over extended use. This is a normal occurrence and the cracks may be repaired with alumina coating.
