MSK-AFA-EC150-LD is a compact and continuous tape caster for battery electrode sheets with a circulating drying heater. It contains an electrostatic dust remover for ensuring a particle-free coating environment. The coating films can be up to 1.5 mm thickness on a sheet with 150 mm width and 4 m length in a roll-to-roll pattern (substrate reeling out -> blade coating-> heated circulation drying-> and final electrode winding). A hybrid slot die head or ultrasonic spray head can be installed for realizing multifunctional coatings. (Change to Aluminum frame and P/N since 5/2/2021) SPECIFICATIONS Working Voltage 208 – 240VAC, 50/60Hz, Single phase 110VAC is available via a 2000W transformer. Max. Power Consumption 1.7 KW Coating Method & Precision Tape casting is done with a doctor blade ( Film applicator) on a flat plate: Substrate reeling out -> blade coating-> heated circulation drying-> and final electrode winding Doctor blade coating technique (click the picture on the left to see details) Coating thickness precision: 10 microns.
