MSK-ME-300 is a Lab-scale melt extrusion machine for preparing various polymer-based composite membranes with thickness from 0.1 mm to 1.0 mm, such as PEPEO, TPU, PP, EVA, PVC. It also can be used to make flexible solid electrolyte membranes. SPECIFICATIONS Input Power 208~240 VAC three-phase, 50/60Hz 380V, 3 phases available upon request Max power consumption: 8000 W > 40A air breaker required The power cable is included without a plug Melting Cylinder The raw material is fed into the melting cylinder via a screw rod by a servo-motor at a variable speed Cylinder: 38CrMoAlA Nitrided steel with ID 25 mm Screw rod Speed: 0 - 95 RPM adjustable The melting chamber is heated by three-zone up to 300ºC with independent precision temperature control The melting material will be fed into the extrusion head, which is heated by three heating zones up to 300ºC with independent temperature control Please see the sketch left for detail Melt Extrusion Die The extrusion die is made of 5CrNiMo hardened steel with smooth polishing Heating plates are fixed on the two sides of the extrusion die Die lip width: 300 mm Extrusion width: 270 mm adjustable Extruded membrane thickness: 0.1 mm - 1.0 mm adjustable.
