Specifications

The planetary centrifugal vacuum mixer MSK-PCE-V2150 is designed for mixing various kinds of liquid, slurry, paste, and powder materials. It could be used for mixing and homogenizing nanopowders, nanotubes, ceramics powders, battery powder/slurry, and metal powders. The vacuum mixing capability is integrated for the best mixing results. It is compact to put in the glovebox with Ar and N2 atmosphere. SPECIFICATIONS Features Mixing under vacuum for deaeration Automatic and Manual modes of operation Combination of rotation and revolution to mix samples evenly Temperature monitor for the chamber Compact size to fit in the glove box Minimized contamination (no metal mixing blade) Mix, disperse, and degas samples simultaneously Process up to two samples simultaneously Brushless motor to allow to use in Ar environmental Voltage Input Single Phase AC 208 - 240V, 50 Hz Maximum: 1000 W 110V is available with a 1500W transformer Mixing Planetary Centrifugal Vacuum Mixing The centrifugal force of rotation and revolution induces convection, homogenizing the materials. With the vacuum pressure, submicron air bubbles can be efficiently eliminated from the materials. Vacuum Capability - 0.085 MPa Max. The vacuum pump is not included in the standard package. Please click the picture below to order a vacuum pump. Working Time 1-999 seconds Speed Fixed speed ratio (container rotation speed = sample platen revolution speed x 0.6 ) Sample Platen (revolution motion): 10-2000 rpm, accuracy 1 rpm Low Speed: 10-1499 rpm, continuous High Speed: 1500-2000 rpm, 7.5min Max. Containers and Counter-Weights Two 150ml standard containers are included. 30ml containers are available upon request. Type Container Max Sample Volume Max Sample Weight Standard 150 ml 75 ml 150 g Optional 30 ml 15 ml Warning: overload may damage the device. Please follow both the volume and weight limit as above when loading the sample. Control Panel Easy control touch screen panel Store up to 8 programs in memory at Automatic Mode, as shown in Fig.1 3 programmable segments with adjustable speed, time, and vacuum values, as shown in Fig.2. Fig.1 Fig.2 Safety and Protection Safety warnings and interlocks are integrated. The unit automatically stops when The unit is overloaded with the sample. The sample is loaded in an unbalanced way. The top cover is opened. Application Notes Always use the mixer on a level & stable surface for best performance and maximum safety. Do not use the mixer in a hazardous atmosphere, or with flammable, explosive, corrosive, poisonous material. Check the chemical resistance of the container with different materials before loading the sample. Do not overload the mixer! Stop the mixing operation immediately if abnormal sound/vibration is observed. Use a digital balance to make sure the sample loading is balanced before mixing. Double-check if the containers are mounted correctly and securely before mixing. Do not open the cover lid until the rotation has completely stopped. Do not retrieve the containers and/or put a hand close to the mixing fixture while the rotation has not completely stopped. Only use the included containers for the mixing operation. Please make sure there is no foreign object in the mixer before mixing Please click underline to learn Centrifugal Force calculation.
