Specifications

MSK-SS-10 is A computerized automatic shock tester designed for testing Li-Ion battery cells or packs according to the 38.3.4.4; Test T.4: Shock section of the UN38.3 standard. This section tests batteries under the simulation of possible impacts during transportation with the pack or cell subjected to an acceleration of 150 gn with a duration of 6 milliseconds ( 50 gn with 11 milliseconds for larger packs or cells). The shock tester is capable of handling battery packs up to 10Kg (22 lbs) and displays the peaks of the shock pulses in half-sinusoidal graphs. Sample Stage Size: 250mm x 200mm (9.84" x 7.87 ") Shock Height Range: 50-1000 mm Max. Sample Load: 10 kg (22 lbs) or smaller Shock Pulse Time: 0.5 -30 ms (half-sine wave); programmable Max. Acceleration: 15 - 15000 m/s^2 (half-sine wave); Shock Direction: Perpendicular Brake Device: Built-in brakes to protect from second time shock. Control Unit Operation software compatible with MS Windows is included & installed PC and Monitor are integrated into the control unit to maximize space savings Wave Type: Half-Sine Wave Program Settings: Pulse Duration: 0.5 - 11 ms Acceleration: 15 - 15000 m/s^2 Compress Air >7 /c compress air is required for the operation of this equipment, however, we are not including an air compressor in the standard package, please order one from your local hardware store. A quick connector with a short 8 mm dia tube is included, you need using a 12 mm tube insert to the tube we supplied ( click Pic below to a connector ) Attention: If a gas cylinder is used instead of an air compressor(pic2), a two-stage pressure regulator(pic1) must be installed on the gas cylinder to limit the pressure within the required working range for safe operation.
