QF-800 is a fast melting & quenching furnace under an air-tight chamber for studying super-cooling of materials SPECIFICATIONS Power AC 110VAC, Single Phase, 50/60 Hz 1.5 KW ( without vacuum pump ) The power cable is included with a US plug Vacuum chamber & Hater SS304 Vacuum Chamber: Ø315 mm×315 mm H (inner dimension) Resistance coil heater up to 800ºC 14 mm ID quartz tube with 1 mm hole as melting crucible 10 bar pressure inert gas ( helium suggested ) will inject molten materials into a bottom container with liquid gallium. Heating plate One heating plate with magnetic stirring for liquid gallium is located at the bottom of the heater up to 200oC Melting liquid will be dropped into the heated container with Ga for rapid cooling Max.
